KNOW YOUR RIGHTS

The Know Your Rights campaign serves the public legal education mandate of the ANSJI and is a response to recommendation 4.1 of the Wortley Report

With provincial and federal government funding support, ANSJI has partnered with subject matter experts to deliver public legal education sessions on a variety of topics including:

  • Criminal Law

  • Property Law

  • Wills and Estates

  • Family Law

ANSJI has also partnered with African Nova Scotian Student Support Workers to deliver in person public education to Black students in schools across the province about their rights when they encounter the police.

If your school or organization is interested in organizing a public legal education session, please contact ANSJI for more details.
